ELGATO HD60 PLUS PC
Then I restarted my PC and did a hard power cycle reset on the PS4(turning completely off and removing the power supply cable for ~10 seconds). All cables from Elgato/PS4/and even unnecessary USB peripheral devices. First I unhooked everything completely again.Okay so I got home from work today with a rush of passion and ideas to turn this problem around! Unfortunately none of them worked, but to help weed out some troubleshooting suggestions I'm going to list them so that everyone knows what's going on completely. *EDIT AFTER MORE TROUBLESHOOTING - STILL NO SOLUTION\* I have submitted a ticket to Elgato already, and am aware that it may take awhile to receive an official response or help, but I'm hoping(sort of) that someone else may have had this same issue at some point and found a workaround.Īny help with this issue is immensely appreciated, and if there is a duplicate of this topic, I'm terribly sorry but I did my best to find it! I then scoured this Reddit, YouTube, the Elgato Help forums, and went about 20 pages deep on Google trying to find some semblance of an answer.

After the reboot I plugged it back in and began to run the same series of tests to no avail. Then I deleted everything from my computer that had to do with the Elgato HD60 S+, unplugged it completely, and restarted my PC. I was receiving a "No Signal" response from my monitor). Mainly, going into my PS4 and lowering the resolution step by step to see if I could get any image to either passthrough or appear on my PS4's monitor(which also was not happening when attempting to use the HD60 S+ after installing. At this point I began to test several other options. Opening the 4K Utility Capture program leads me to a screen that loads for several seconds and then tells me one of two error messages:ĭevice is Being Used By Another ApplicationĪttempting to use the HD60 S+ with programs like Twitch Studio, Streamlabs OBS, and OBS all show the device as a video capture device, but none of them can get any picture to passthrough. When I plug the capture card into one of the USB ports there is no indication that the computer is recognizing it, however it does appear as a Webcam and a Sound Device in the Device Manager when this occurs.

So, the main issue is that nothing is happening, other than the strip of lights coming on down the center when it's completely set up.

Downloaded 4K Utility Capture ahead of time.Ensured through Device Manager that my USB Hubs could not be turned off in order to conserve power(a weird setting to have an effect, but hey better safe than sorry).Other unusual issues I went ahead and took precautions against: Made sure that the USB Type-C connector was plugged into a USB 3.0 at the least(my Motherboard only has those and USB 3.2(Gigabyte's personal USB input I believe?).Set PS4 resolution to a compatible resolution for both my Monitor and the HD60 S+.I felt fairly confident diving in and setting it up. It (HD60 S+) arrived today and, having already done a lot of reading through troubleshooting FAQs, common issues connecting to PS4, and the dreaded Chat Link vs. GPU: ROG Strix RX580 OC 8GB w/Wraith CPU Cooler.
ELGATO HD60 PLUS UPGRADE
Hello everyone, I just recently did a large upgrade to my PC(nothing top notch, just able to play more than before and stream now, hence the post) and afterwards decided to drop some cash on the Elgato HD60 S+ because the reviews were great on the surface.
